Stole it and executed it poorly. The dynamic between the two leads, Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively, also resembles the lead characters from Killing Eve, Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer. Classic Hollywood ingenuity.
Here is a portion of the poster for Another Simple Favor, including the movie title. Note the red blood dripping from the v. The trailer includes a moving version as well, with much better color choices, to be fair. The red on this “flaky” looking yellow is off putting.
Seems fun, right? Makes you curious/hope for some killing and thrills. It might be fun if it wasn’t so so wrong.
It is clearly a rip off of the satisfying, and well pulled off Killing Eve Title design work. The blood drip on the mono (dual?) color logo is very nuanced, and well timed. It is simple. It is fun.

The show also does similar design, color and fonts when they show new cities. Pretty good show, give it a watch.
